Vista is particularly buggy in this regard, and unfortunately Microsoft hasn't done much to help Vista users find a solution. Go to Start » Run » and type in devmgmt.msc. The link I posted said that hibernation would have to be off for the standby command to work. There are multiple programs and services available that can scan your PC and recommend updates for your various drivers. While I know that the RAM drive precludes hibernate, I am working now on at least going into standby to keep down power consumption.
