Solutions to your problem are ---> -Check the sound chipset. -Update the sound drivers. -Make sure the media player you are using is not crashed. -If crashed uninstall and reinstall it. have you fixed your problem, do you have any other idea how to nstall BIOS without any prblem?? You might even consider a repair from the vista install CD, this might even fix a little glitch in the boot-up sequence of vista itself.
