I would certainly put the problem down to MS updates. But the PC wont load windows or Boot from Disc, it could be both. And so sorry for not responding till now. I put the CD in and hit F12 during start-up and it let me boot Puppy, It looks like there is 3 different partitions SDA0, SDA1 and SDA2.
