I followed the instructions in the fix, but my current software version (HH-D-QM-B-CJ) didn't look anything like the one shown in the fix, so I called Sony - 800-222-7669. Doesn't happen all the time. I called Dish repeatedly about losing the audio COMPLETELY for no longer than 30 seconds or so ONLY when watching HD channels. I also have a sony theatre system with sync features. For audio connection, press the HOME button on your remote, then select Settings → Sound → Speakers → Audio System.
My son is planning to set up my surround sound so maybe this will help. Signal diagnostics show the signal strength at 95% and all indicators are positive for reception, but the picture will not display.
