If I had known all this before i would have stuck with the tv I had. The Netflix ppl were great and took me through steps that looked like we had connection but it only lasted for minutes and was gone again. after countless reset at samsungs request and multiple TECH'S ? You are actually able to fix this by updating your firmware.

What is wrong with people. I have done a network test and it confirms that it is connected to the internet with a strong signal. It's like going back to the 1990s. Annoying though! I have reset the router, disconnected tv from the mains, swapped the ASDL filter for a new one and changed all cabling (wall-router/router-tv). I believe that you found the solution to be a DNS issue. The red led light for the IR sensor blinked and kept moving the toggle until that blinked no more suggesting any stored power in the TV was gone. Outage ? He could not point me to a URL where service status is posted.
